Providing advice on sustainable energy production in AfricaCamco has specialist expertise in energy and climate change policy, planning and strategy in Africa. We have been shaping national, regional and local policies on energy and climate change for over 20 years. 

Camco has acted as a key player in the sustainable energy arena in the African region, having supported the development of energy and related policies, strategies and programmes for national and local governments, including Tanzania, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Kenya, Zambia, Rwanda, Namibia and Swaziland. This has included working with partners such as regulators, and departments of energy and environment to establish the policy frameworks to support sustainable energy investment. In recent years Camco has also pioneered the development of renewable energy feed-in tariffs in Uganda and Botswana.
