  • Camco completes largest carbon credit deal under the CDM
  • Camco acquires its parent company ESD consulting
  • Camco invests in Dallas Clean Energy, a land-fill gas installation, its first investment in USA

2006

  • Camco completes an IPO in AIM (London Stock Exchange) and raises £24.9m to develop carbon projects
  • The company named as one of the 50 best places to work in the UK by The Financial Times

2005

  • ClearWorld Energy’s (later Camco) carbon business is established in China with award of world's largest private sector CDM project

2002

  • Clearworld Energy (later Camco) develop world's first wind energy CDM project and China's first CDM project
  • ESD (later Camco) develops CDM Gold Standard with World Wildlife Fund

2001

  • The company designs first Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project in Africa with the World Bank’s Prototype Carbon Fund

1999
